PPC account manager

Job description

We’re looking for a PPC account manager to join the Carrington team to work in our fast-paced paid team. This position’s ideal for someone with two or more years’ experience working with Google Ads and paid social accounts (either in an agency or in-house) and who loves the idea of working at a Google Partner agency, helping to deliver brilliant returns for our clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing client Pay-Per-Click campaigns through Google Ads, across Search, Display, Shopping and Video
  • Managing paid social ads campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Snapchat
  • Microsoft Ads experience
  • Optimising campaigns for clients daily, weekly and monthly
  • Optimising conversation rates and implementing advanced conversion tracking
  • Data analysis from Google Ads and Google Analytics to optimise accounts and improve performance
  • Setting client strategies in partnership with our PR and SEO teams
  • Manage the onboarding process to ensure that the agency has all assets and account access as required for management of campaigns
  • Regular account audits to identify new opportunities and growth of campaigns and results
  • Reporting and analytics of PPC campaign
  • Supporting with new business pitches and proposals



  • Experience managing multiple ad campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook and more
  • Experience of managing clients and working with them to deliver strong results
  • Google Ads and Google Analytics certification
  • Great client relationship and team working skills
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills and timekeeping


  • Google Tag Manager and Search Console experience
  • Copywriting and content creation
  • Agency experience
  • Google Ads scripts experience
  • Technical SEO
  • Full, clean driving licence


  • 2+ years PPC experience (but we hire on passion and talent, not length of service)


  • Salary: £28k – £35k (depending on experience)
