We’re looking for a PR account manager to join the Carrington team. This position’s ideal for someone with two or more years’ experience in PR, communications, marketing or journalism and who loves the idea of working at a growing PR team, helping to deliver brilliant results for our clients. We’re looking for someone who can be the main point of contact for client accounts, working with clients and colleagues to plan and deliver outstanding PR content over earned, owned and paid media channels.
We want someone with bags of talent, a flair for creativity and a passion for PR, communications, copywriting and content creation.
You’ll be working with a range of varied and very interesting clients, mostly within manufacturing, business services and the visitor economy. Key responsibilities
- Proactively manage a range of client PR accounts
- Deliver creative campaigns across owned, earned and paid media
- Offer strategic PR advice to clients to support wider marketing and business objectives
- Build and maintain good relationships with clients and media contacts
- Coordinate wider marketing strategies in partnership with our SEO and PPC teams
- Monthly PR reporting (using AMEC Integrated Evaluation Framework)
- Write copy for a range of PR and marketing materials for clients
- Manage the creation of graphic and video content for social media and marketing campaigns
- Manage the work of colleagues to ensure delivery on time and budgetary constraints
- Support the training and development of colleagues through mentoring and guidance
- Develop new ideas, angles, stories, opportunities and techniques for media coverage
REQUIREMENTS
Essential
- Experience of managing multiple PR and marketing campaigns (independently or as part of a team) and delivering strong press results
- Knowledge of the local and national media landscape
- Understanding of mainstream social media platforms and social media content creation
- Strong organisation and project management skills
- Strong and diverse copywriting ability
- Great client relationships and team working skills
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills and timekeeping

Experience:
