Job description

We’re looking for an SEO specialist to join the Carrington team. This position’s ideal for someone with two or more years’ experience (either agency or in-house) and who loves the idea of working at a growing digital marketing agency, helping to deliver brilliant returns for our clients.

We want someone with bags of talent and passion for technical SEO and search marketing. In exchange you’ll get a good salary (£30k – £40k, depending on experience) and great experience working on different clients across a range of industries. Experience

2+ years SEO experience (but we hire on passion and talent, not length of service)

Responsibilities

  • Auditing client websites and making short-term and long-term on-page and off-page improvements
  • Carrying out detailed and well-planned keyword research
  • Improving organic traffic and conversion rates for our clients’ websites
  • Implementing user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) improvements
  • Setting client strategies in partnership with our PR and PPC teams
  • Working with the sales team to carry out audits for new business proposals
  • Reporting and analysing SEO campaigns
  • Supporting with new business pitches and proposals
  • Data analysis from Google Analytics to optimise accounts and improve performance

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience of managing multiple search marketing campaigns for clients (independently or as part of a team) and working with them to deliver strong improvements in keyword rankings and organic traffic growth
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO
  • Google Analytics certification
  • Google Tag Manager and Search Console experience
  • Highly proficient with SEO software (Moz/ AHRefs/ Semrush etc)
  • Great client relationships and team working skills
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills and timekeeping
