The Brief

We were hired by Revesby Estate to modernise and coordinate marketing efforts across this 1000-year-old Lincolnshire Estate, supporting its mission to improve and protect its historic assets, natural environment, community and culture.

Our brief was to help current custodians, the Wiggins-Davies family, to promote the Estate’s financial and non-financial objectives through its diverse offering of forestry, farmland, fisheries, corporate hospitality, residential and commercial lettings, livery and more.

Our Approach

We split our work into three phases; modernise, coordinate and innovate. First of all, we brought their marketing efforts up-to-date in important areas such as messaging, activity, automation and expenditure. We then worked with the Estate to bring its many marketing activities together, in one coordinated strategy and with a set of clear objectives. And finally, we brought in new creative approaches to help the Estate better engage with existing stakeholders, and to reach new audiences too. We did all of this by embedding ourselves with the Estate’s operational team.

Our activity grew from marketing consultancy, into social media management, paid social advertising, PR and copywriting.

With 6,350-acres of diversified land use and over 300 years of unbroken family ownership to its name, the Wiggins-Davies’ work is never done. Our consultancy has given the Estate the marketing tools and know-how to thrive and keep improving as its looks to greater diversification and to capitalise on new technologies in agriculture.
